I’ve been building these little beds in my garden. The bricks are pretty
heavy so I just do one a day when I’m doing them. I got to the third
one today and discovered a tomato plant! I think it’s the one that I
started indoors, and if so, it’s the only one of the plants that I
started indoors that has survived. “Carrots love tomatoes,” so on the
next day that’s good for planting (according to the moon) I’m going to
plant carrots in the bed with this tomato.
A surprise tomato. It’s a small thing to be happy about, but I’m happy about it.
