Today's Quote

 Unfortunately, a health event involving a several hours-long trip to the emergency room interrupted my daily process, and I don't have the usual graphic for today's quote. I do have a quote, though, and it is:

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old;

we grow old because we stop playing.”

~ George Bernard Shaw

July 28, This Day in History

Yesterday in editing this video, I got it recorded with the green screen. Before I could finish editing, with titles, pictures, music, and so on, I experienced a medical event which resulted in a call to 911 and a trip to the emergency room. So, no titles, no music, no background, no graphics, and no music with this one.
That said, the subjects covered in this video are Horseplay, a historic commission, Jonathan Edwards, "Sunshine (Go Away Today)" by Jonathan Edwards, and a quote.

July 9 This Day in History

A surprise thunderstorm came our way and knocked power out AGAIN while I was editing the episode for June 9, 2025, so I was unable to complete that; I am posting the video for June 9 from 2024 in its place. We'd had a similar episode two days earlier, on Sunday, due to "vegetation impacting equipment." Hopefully we can carry on uninterrupted from this point!

This occurred while I was editing the episode for June 9, 2025, so I was unable to complete that; I will post the video for June 9 from 2024 in its place.

I finally did it, folks! I created a Patreon Creator Account!

I'm still learning how it all works, so I think for now, I'll be posting the links to the videos I publish, and the images I make for the Quote of the Day.

Other than that, we can decide together, with your input, what extra kinds of things you'd like to see from me on Patreon.

Check it out at https://patreon.com/VickiBowers - see you there!
